Ori-Oke Gbogunmi, aka Ajanpelenbe Mountain is located on Pipeline Road, Isheri Olofin. Headed by Prophet Elijah Adesoye Oladosu, the prayer mountain holds night vigil dailyand they also provide accommodation for visitors who come for prayer session.
Ori-Oke Baba
One of the prayer mountains is Ori-Oke Baba, located in Ede, Osun State. It attracts people from around the world seeking spiritual revival and also serves as a tourist destination. At the top of the mountain, there is a church building where people can pray.
Ori-Oke Ikoyi
Another prayer mountain is Ori-Oke Ikoyi, also situated in Ede, Osun State. Women are not allowed to visit this mountain, and visitors must remove their shoes when climbing, regardless of their social status. Established in 1935 by Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola, prayers are offered throughout the day at this mountain. It is open to people from any denomination and serves as a place for pastors to receive power before holding special programs in their respective churches.
The journey to Ori-Oke Ikoyi involves passing through a small village with a growing population. Visitors can easily reach the mountain from Ibadan or Ile-Ife, and motorcyclists are available to transport them to the foot of the mountain. The climb to the peak can be challenging, with rocky terrain, but offers a unique experience, especially at night under the starry sky. On the mountain, people can be seen praying, lying down, or moving around in supplication.
